Nancy Belcher

As the CEO of King County Medical Society (KCMS), one of the nation's largest medical societies, Belcher takes on many medical policy issues and works tirelessly to improve healthcare. Legislative topics include the racial disparities in medical practice and training and how death investigations are fraught with inefficient and inappropriate rules. Belcher has effectively worked to improve lead testing in communities and schools, firearm injury prevention, Covid testing, vaccination availability, and telehealth parity. She also works on developing effective mental health programs.
